Adjacent to the periosteum is a hypocellular irregular shaped myxoid lesion devoid of atypia and hypervascularity.
Juxta-articular myxoma is frequently associated with cystic changes that resembled a ganglion cyst. A wide age range is affected, and they most frequently, by far, affect the knee joint. A meniscal or perimeniscal cyst would also be in the clinical differentiatl diagnosis.
