This is a typical fundic gland polyp - a small protrusion from the surface with variably sized cystic spaces.

There is architectural disorganization along with confused parietal cells which emanate directly from the shortened pits.

The cystic glands are lined by various cell types.

Fundic gland polyps may be seen in the sporadic or familial setting, the latter arising in those with familial autosomal polyposis. These polyps are the most frequent etiology of gastric polyposis overall.
